Our story
A craft, not a commodity
Eco Epoxy Countertops is a service of Dream Home Innovate, LLC, based in Castle Rock, Colorado. We pour custom, food-safe epoxy surfaces right over the counters, tables, bars, and floors people already own, across the Denver metro.
Here's what sets the work apart. This isn't a slab you pick off a shelf. Every surface is hand-mixed and poured to the room, which takes real design skill and a close read of what's underneath. No two pours are the same, and that's the point.
What we believe
Keep the bones, change the surface
No needless demolition
If your counters are solid, they stay. We build the new surface on top, so there's no tear-out, no dumpster, and no week without a kitchen.
Food-safe and eco-friendly
A Leggari epoxy base that's FDA-approved and low-to-no VOC, sealed with a 100% eco-friendly Stone Coat urethane top coat.
Done in days
Most kitchens wrap in two to three days. Compare that to weeks of stone template, fabrication, and install scheduling.
Repairable, not replaceable
Chip it years from now and we sand and re-pour that spot. Granite and quartz usually mean a whole new slab.
Why epoxy, and why we do it this way
We started doing this because we kept watching people spend stone money to fix a problem that was really about looks. A solid laminate counter, good cabinets, a layout that worked fine, all of it ripped out and hauled to a landfill so a slab could go in. That never sat right with us. There's a better way, and it happens to be greener, faster, and a lot more personal.
Pouring epoxy over an existing surface is a real skill. It isn't a kit you buy and roll on. Prep makes or breaks the job, so we degrease, scuff, and prime every surface before a drop of color goes down. Then comes the part that's genuinely an art: mixing the color and moving the veining so it reads like natural stone and suits your exact room. Two installers can pour the same materials and get very different results. That's the craft, and it's the part we care about most.
Materials we stand behind
We don't cut corners on what goes into your home. The base is a Leggari food-safe epoxy that's FDA-approved and low-to-no VOC, so there's almost no odor during the install and nothing off-gassing once it cures. Over the color we lay a Stone Coat Ultimate Top Coat, a urethane clear coat that's 100% eco-friendly and does the hard work of resisting scratches, heat, UV, and stains. Non-porous when it's done, which means no yearly resealing like natural stone needs.
And if something happens years down the road, we come back and fix the spot. A chip gets sanded and re-poured, and it blends. You're not buying a whole new slab over one bad day in the kitchen. That repairability is a quiet reason a lot of our work comes from referrals.
