Yes. We pour a Leggari base that's FDA-approved for food contact and seal it with a Stone Coat Ultimate Top Coat. Once cured it's non-porous, so nothing soaks in. Roll out dough, set down a wet glass, wipe up wine.
It's one of the greener ways to redo a surface. The Leggari base is low-to-no VOC and the Stone Coat top coat is a 100% eco-friendly urethane. We also keep waste low by not hauling out an old slab.
Most projects run about 40 to 50% under a granite or quartz replacement installed. Because it's custom design work, hand-mixed for your room, we quote every job on its own. Use our measuring tool for a planning estimate.
Most kitchens are two to three days on site. Light use within about 48 hours, full hardness in roughly a week.
We fix it on site. A chip gets sanded and re-poured in that spot and blends back in. Granite or quartz usually means a whole new slab.
