Why epoxy beats a cultured-marble vanity
Most builder vanities are cultured marble or laminate that yellow and dull over time. We pour right over them. No plumber pulling the sink for days, no demo dust through the whole house. We mask the area, prep the old top, and build the new surface in place.
And because we mix the color by hand, you get a real marble look without paying for a stone slab cut to fit an odd vanity footprint. White and gold to match brass fixtures is the runaway favorite in Denver baths right now.
The trouble spot on a vanity is always the seam at the sink and the backsplash. We seal those edges so water can't wick underneath, which is exactly where old tops fail first.

The finish is the part people underestimate. Water sits on top instead of soaking in, so there's no swelling or dark edges around the sink. Makeup and hair dye wipe off. A flat iron set down by accident won't leave the mark it would on laminate.
The materials that make it last
Every job uses the same two systems. We pour a Leggari food-safe epoxy base, which is FDA-approved and low-to-no VOC, and we seal it with a Stone Coat Ultimate Top Coat, a 100% eco-friendly urethane clear coat. That top layer is the armor against scratches, heat, UV, and stains, so the surface still looks new years down the road.

Yes. Cultured marble is a great base as long as it's solid. We scuff it, prime it, and the resin grips. Cracked or loose tops get repaired first.
We work around drop-in sinks and reseal the edges. For undermount sinks we plan the pour so the transition stays clean and waterproof. We'll talk through your setup on the quote visit.
Once cured, the surface is non-porous and sealed under a urethane top coat, so water stays on top. Wipe it up and there's no staining or swelling like laminate gets.
Usually a day or two on site, then light use within about 48 hours and full hardness in a week. We sequence it so your sink comes back online quickly.
